参谋长叶剑英、第359旅旅长王震、大卫·包瑞德上校和美军驻延安观察组其他成员在第359旅经过检阅台的时候向战士致敬回礼。他们上方的几个大字是中文“阅兵台”，右侧竖着的一行标语写的是“中美苏英团结起来”。
